Ola Electric car to arrive in 2024 with over 500km range.

Ola Electric car to arrive in 2024 with over 500km range.

Ola Electric will launch six different cars and establish a car manufacturing plant with a capacity to produce 10 lakh cars per year.

Ola Electric today revealed its future plan for the electric car. Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal revealed a video of the upcoming Ola Electric car and announced that the first car will be launched in 2024.

Bhavish Aggarwal revealed that Ola’s car would be one of the fastest cars in India, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds. The electric car will have a range of 500 km per charge.

He said that it would be the sportiest car ever built in India. It will have an all-glass roof and a drag coefficient of less than 0.21. It will have Ola’s homemade MoveOS and will come with assisted driving capabilities.

Ola will launch six different models of its electric car made across two platforms.

Ola Electric is also building a car manufacturing plant near its current future factory. The car factory will have a capacity to produce 10 lakh cars per year.

The plant will be India’s largest integrated and automated manufacturing plant.

The four-wheeler factory will be spread across 200 acres of land in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Combined with the 40 acres of two-wheeler factory and 100 acres of cell factory, Ola is building India’s largest EV ecosystem.

Speaking about the Ola Electric car, Bhavish Aggarwal, said: The image of cars in India has evolved from Ambassador to Maruti after the economic liberalization. Today, India is a young, energetic, and extremely ambitious country. But the cars we build now are dull and boring. Indian car makers are conservative, thinking that we only want a small or medium-sized car. Global automakers think that the Indian market is not ready for world-class technology and hence sell their hand-me-down tech in India. We need to change this. We deserve a car that defines this new India. Our car is going to be one of the fastest cars in India. It will have a range of 500 km per charge and will be the sportiest car ever built in India. It will have the best performance, best design, and the best technology ever built in a car in India.
