Zevo Corporation to Launch World's First Peer-to-Peer EV Sharing Platform.

Zevo Corporation is seeking EV hosts in Dallas and Austin to support the Q2 rollout of on-demand, contactless carshare technology. Hosts can generate passive income by renting out their EVs.

Zevo Corporation, a leading provider of electric-only vehicle (EV) sharing solutions, has announced the launch of a pioneering ground transportation platform that will transform the car-sharing experience. The company’s new two-sided marketplace creates a seamless and emission-free car-sharing experience that promises to disrupt the traditional rental car and rideshare industry.

According to Zevo Corporation, the platform is designed to connect EV owners with users who are looking for a clean and sustainable way to get around town. The company is currently seeking EV owners in Dallas and Austin to join the movement as hosts to support its national expansion plan starting with a Q2 rollout in those cities.

The company’s mantra, “If we are going to drive, why not do it cleanly?” underscores its commitment to providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional car-sharing services.

Zevo Corporation’s platform offers users a flexible and convenient way to access electric vehicles (EVs) on-demand, whether they need it for an hour, a week, or even a month. The platform’s contactless and automated interaction eliminates the need for driver-dependent schedules or traditional rental car reservations and fees.

One of the most significant advantages of the Zevo platform is that it enables hosts to generate passive income by renting out their EVs when they are not in use. This not only offers a financial benefit to the hosts but also contributes to reducing carbon emissions, promoting sustainable transportation options.

To build its network of host vehicles, Zevo is offering the first 100 EV hosts in Dallas and Austin, who sign up their vehicles, up to $1,000 in rewards, along with free charging for a year. This incentive program is designed to encourage EV owners to join the movement and become a part of Zevo’s eco-friendly transportation solution.

In an effort to boost user adoption and establish a strong presence in new markets, Zevo Corporation has devised a multi-faceted strategy that includes deploying its own vehicles for early users to test and use. Additionally, the company plans to install approximately five superchargers within metro areas to ensure reliable access to charging stations.

To address logistic challenges faced by existing car rental and sharing companies, the company intends to collaborate with local businesses to establish designated parking spots as “exchange points.” This approach will facilitate the exchange of vehicles between hosts and users, creating a seamless and enjoyable on-demand user experience.

To expand into new markets, including the Los Angeles metro and Bay areas, Zevo Corporation is focused on creating a flexible and user-friendly platform that meets the needs of modern consumers.

Hebron Sher, Zevo Founder and CEO, said: Owners of EVs are sitting on an asset and we want to incentivize them to help make a difference while also putting money in their pocket. Ideally, we’d love to see people running their own business, providing small fleets of EVs, offering users more access, and making a difference for their community and the environment.
