The All-Electric Fisker Pear Crossover Set to Release at Under USD 30,000.

Fisker Pear will have a maximum range of over 300 miles for the top version. The prototype will be unveiled later this year.

Fisker, the California-based electric car manufacturer, is set to release its latest all-electric crossover, the Pear, at a starting price of $29,900. In an investor presentation, Fisker’s CEO confirmed that the development of the model is progressing well. The Pear is set to have a maximum range of “well over 300 miles” for the top version, thanks to an aerodynamic design that has already been tested in the wind tunnel.

Fisker plans to reveal the Pear in prototype form later this year at an investor day event, where it will also showcase its Ronin electric sports car and the Ocean-based Alaska pickup. However, the company has already released two new photos of the upcoming model, which show the front and rear light signatures, as well as the general shape of the crossover.

The Pear is smaller than Tesla’s Model Y, with a length of approximately 177 inches, and Fisker is touting its “truly revolutionary E/E architecture” that uses fewer central computer units than rival models, with the whole system called the Blade Computer. Reservations for the Pear are already open on the company’s website, with Fisker reporting over 5,600 pre-orders as of February 24, 2023.

Fisker’s commitment to offering an affordable all-electric option is a significant move in the industry, and Pear’s starting price could make it an attractive option for consumers looking to purchase an electric vehicle. However, the company has yet to announce an official release date for the Pear, and many questions remain about the model’s performance and features.
