Ultraviolette starts deliveries of the F77 electric motorcycle.

Ultraviolette F77 generates a peak power of 29 kW (38.8 hp) and a peak torque of 95 Nm. It can reach a top speed of 147 km/h and accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette, an electric vehicle company, has started the deliveries of its much-awaited F77 high-performance electric motorcycle. The first batch of electric bikes is being handed over to the customers at the company’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone for the Indian electric vehicle industry.

Ultraviolette is now looking to expand its presence across the country by setting up dealerships in major cities. This move is expected to make it easier for customers to purchase and get their bikes serviced. The company aims to establish a strong network of dealerships and service centers to ensure a seamless ownership experience for its customers.

Ultraviolette is also planning to raise $120 million to support its upcoming growth stages. The funds will be utilized to aid the company’s global expansion plans and ongoing vehicle platform development efforts. The start-up has successfully raised over $55 million since its inception, with investment companies such as EXOR Capital from Europe, Qualcomm Ventures from the US, TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies, and Speciale Invest participating in previous rounds of funding.

Ultraviolette F77 electric sports bike is available in two variants: the F77 and F77 Recon. The base variant is priced at ₹3.8 lakh ex-showroom, while the Recon variant is priced at ₹4.55 lakh ex-showroom.

The F77 base variant is equipped with a 7.1 kWh battery pack and offers a range of 206 km(IDC). On the other hand, the Recon variant has a larger 10.3 kWh battery pack and a range of 307 km, making it the longest-range electric two-wheeler in the country.

Both variants of the Ultraviolette F77 have impressive features, including a peak power of 27 kW (36.2 hp) and a peak torque of 85 Nm. The F77 has a top speed of 140 km/h and can go from 0-60 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. Meanwhile, the F77 Recon generates a peak power of 29 kW (38.8 hp) and a peak torque of 95 Nm. It can reach a top speed of 147 km/h and can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds. Both variants have three riding modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic.

Additionally, Ultraviolette has launched a limited edition F77, with only 77 units available. The limited edition F77 generates a peak power of 30.2 kW and a peak torque of 100 Nm. It can reach a top speed of 152 km/h and go from 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. The limited edition models are numbered from 001 to 077 and priced at ₹5.5 lakh.
