Tata Motors partners with SBI to offer financing solutions for the Ace EV.

Tata Ace EV offers a range of 154 km, has a cargo volume of 208 cubic feet, and can handle a payload of up to 600kg.

India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the country’s leading public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI), to offer unique financing solutions for the purchase of the all-new Tata Ace EV. Leveraging SBI’s strong network, the financing options will be made accessible to customers across the country.

Commenting on this partnership, Mr. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business, Tata Motors, said, “We are delighted to join hands with the largest bank in the country, the State Bank of India, to offer unique, seamless financing schemes for the Tata Ace EV customers. The MoU has further strengthened our aim to make Ace EV more accessible to customers. We are confident that our collaboration will fast-track our efforts towards sustainable mobility and support the nation’s net-zero aspirations.”

On the occasion, Mr. Pravin Raghavendra– Deputy Managing Director (Retail – Agri, SME & FI), State Bank of India, said, “We are proud to partner with Tata Motors in an endeavour to offer attractive financing options for the Ace EV. We are confident that the new financing scheme will help individuals and MSMEs in purchasing the state-of-the-art, eco-friendly electric mini-truck.”

Tata Ace EV boasts an EVOGEN powertrain that includes a 21.3kWh Li-Ion battery providing a range of 154km. The electric-commercial vehicle has a cargo volume of 208 cubic feet and can handle a payload of up to 600kg. Additionally, the electric commercial vehicle features a fast-charging mode that can recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in 105 minutes, while the normal charging time is around 6-7 hours.

Under the hood, the Ace EV is equipped with a 27kW (36hp) motor that delivers a peak torque of 130Nm. The vehicle’s container is made of lightweight yet durable materials, making it ideal for e-commerce logistics. Other notable features include telematics (Fleet Edge), a liquid cooling system for the battery, aerodynamic design, regenerative braking, a gradeability of 22 degrees, a wheelbase of 2100mm, and a ground clearance of 160mm.
