TVS iQube is now available in 11 cities.
TVS planning to scale up the iQube to the whole country by March 2022.
On World EV day, TVS launched their electric scooter iQube in 5 new cities- Surat, Ahmedabad, Vishakapatnam, Jaipur, and Hyderabad.
So now, after combining these five cities, the iQube is present in 11 cities across India.
The on-road price of TVS iQube in different cities:

iQube is the cheapest in Surat and Ahmedabad because of the EV policy of Gujarat. The Gujarat Government offers a subsidy of ₹ 10,000 per kWh of battery capacity with a max allowance of ₹ 20,000 for electric scooters.
TVS iQube also gets a FAME-II subsidy of ₹ 33,750 in all the states.
Future plans for TVS iQube
TVS is also planning to scale up to 25 cities within the end of September and be present pan-India by March 2022.
In an interview with CNBC TV18, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director of TVS, said- “We will develop a full range of EV products, and we have a passionate team of over 500 engineers working on this. We are also looking at some partnerships in the charging space which, will be announced soon. In the next two years, we will have a full range of EVs from 5-25 kW, of two and three-wheelers.
We are also bringing an exciting update for iQube in the next couple of months, which will make it more cool and convenient for the users. We are developing a portfolio of EVs, which will be launched from time to time in the coming years.”
TVS iQube Specifications.
TVS iQube is the first EV from TVS Motors. It has a range of 75km/charge and a top speed of 78km/h.
It comes with a silent hub motor. The peak output is 4.4kW. A high-strength aluminium casing protects the battery from water and dust.
The battery has a warranty of 3years/50,000 km. The motor provides instant torque which, makes it accelerate from 0 to 40 in just 4.2sec.
Charging this e-scooter is easy. You can charge it at home with the SmartXHome.
You can also buy a separate cable to charge the battery at any regular 5A socket.
Some of the highlights of this scooter are: LED headlamps, Forward and backward assist, USB port, and ample storage space.
