In its mission to grow a proper EV charging infrastructure in India, the government is launching various EV charging projects. For one such project, the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Tirex Chargers have partnered to deploy 45 EV fast-charging stations across the country.
Tirex will supply its 60kW DC fast chargers for this upcoming project. These high-capacity fast chargers can charge more than one EV at a time and can help avoid long queues at charging stations. These chargers will be compatible with most new-age electric vehicles in India, like Tata’s Nexon & Tigor, Hyundai Kona Electric, MG ZS EV, Mercedes Benz EQC, Jaguar I-PACE, and BYD E6, to name a few.
