Nexon EV Max launched with 437 km range.

The Nexon EV Max has Multi-Mode Regen feature, and the price starts from INR 18.34 lakhs.

Tata Motors launched the longer-range version of the Nexon EV- the Nexon EV Max. 

Nexon EV is the most selling electric car in India. Tata upgraded its best-selling electric four-wheeler to offer a better option to Indian buyers. 

It comes in two trim options, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The price of the base model starts at INR 18.34 lakhs. 

Nexon EV Max Battery and Range.

The Nexon EV Max has a Li-Ion battery pack of 40.5kWh. The battery pack is 30% larger than the previous one and offers 33% higher battery capacity. It has an ARAI-certified range of 437 km. The real-world range would be more than 300 km. Tata designed the battery pack for the users to have an uninterrupted inter-city travel. 

A 50kW DC fast charger can charge the battery from 0-80% in just 56 minutes. 

Two options are available for home charging: a 3.3kW or a 7.2kW AC fast charger. The 7.2kW AC fast charger takes 6.5 hours for a complete charge. 

The battery pack has a liquid cooling system.

Nexon EV Max Motor

The 105kW PMS AC motor delivers an instant torque of 250 Nm. It helps the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds. The top speed is 140 km/h. Both the battery and motor packs are IP67 rated for a weather-proof performance.

It has three driving modes: City, Sport, and Eco.

Features

The Nexon EV Max comes with more than 30 smart features, such as Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, air purifier, Harman Infotainment touchscreen display, wireless smartphone charging, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, etc. It also gets eight new features on the new ZConnect 2.0 car technology. The ZConnect mobile app offers 48 features like smartwatch integration, setting a limit for charging, monthly vehicle reports, auto/manual DTC check, and drive analytics.

Multi-Mode Regen Feature

The Nexon EV Max has a multi-mode regeneration feature. It will help drivers to adjust the level of regenerative braking depending on their driving style and situation.
Drivers can choose between four levels of regen: 0-1-2-3. Level 0 will have no regen, and level 3 will have the max amount of regen.

Safety Features

It comes with enhanced safety features like ESP with i-VBAC, Hill hold, Electronic parking brake with Auto Vehicle hold, Dual front airbags, and all four disc brakes.

Nexon EV Max Price

The Ex-Showroom price of both the trims are as follows:

  • XZ+ (3.3 kW charger) : ₹ 18,34,000.
  • XZ+ (7.2 kW charger) : ₹ 18,84,000.
  • XZ+ Lux (3.3 kW charger) : 19,34,000.
  • XZ+ Lux (7.2 kW charger) : 19,84,000.

It comes in three colour options: Intensi-Teal, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White.

Warranty

The battery and motor have a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km ( whichever is earlier). The vehicle has a warranty of 3years or 1,25,000 km ( whichever is earlier).
