Joy e-bike today announced a significant milestone of 18,600 bookings for its new high-speed electric scooter MIHOS in just 15 days. The booking period started on January 22, 2023, and the response from customers has been phenomenal.

Joy e-bike launched the MIHOS electric scooter at Auto Expo 2023. The body panels of this vintage-looking electric scooter are made with Poly Dicyclopentadiene Material (PDCPD), which provides additional durability and flexibility by absorbing maximum impact.

Joy e-Bike MIHOS is equipped with a 2.5 kWh 74V 40Ah Li-Ion battery based on Nickel Manganese Cobalt chemistry. This powerful battery provides a range of 100km and is designed to withstand shock loads, making it a reliable choice for riders. The battery has undergone extensive testing to ensure its reliability, including industry-leading reliability tests.

In addition, the MIHOS is equipped with an array of safety sensors for added protection, including over-current protection and a thermal cut-off designed specifically for Indian weather conditions.

The 1500W motor in this scooter provides a torque of 95 Nm. The top speed of the scooter is 70 km/h, and it can do 0-40 km/h in less than 7 sec. The scooter has twin disc brakes with an electronic braking system.

Joy e-Bike has designed the MIHOS scooter with Indian road conditions in mind, offering a ground clearance of 175mm for smooth navigation. To ensure a comfortable ride, the scooter is equipped with a telescopic suspension setup in the front and a mono reversible spring suspension at the rear.

In addition to comfort, the MIHOS scooter prioritizes rider safety with features such as a Side Stand Sensor and a Hydraulic Combi Braking System (CBS). These features, combined with its sturdy design and advanced suspension setup, make the MIHOS scooter an excellent choice for riders in India.

The Joy e-Bike MIHOS E-scooter is equipped with a range of advanced sensors that offer improved safety and ease of use. The scooter can be controlled with a simple tap using the “Joy E-connect app,” which allows for the remote tracking and battery monitoring through Bluetooth.

The scooter also features advanced technologies such as GPS sensing, real-time positioning, and geo-fencing.

Joy e-bike will manufacture this scooter at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.

It is available in four colour options – Metallic Blue, Solid Black Glossy, Solid Yellow Glossy, and Pearl White. The ex-showroom price of the scooter is ₹1,35,000. The deliveries of MIHOS will begin from March 2023 in a phased manner across India.

The second phase of the bookings will begin on 9th February 2023, and deliveries in April 2023.
