Bajaj Chetak Electric comes to two more cities- Chennai and Hyderabad.

Bajaj has started the registrations of Chetak Electric in Chennai and Hyderabad.
Currently, Chetak is available in Bangalore, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangalore, and Mysore.
In Chennai, Chetak Premium will cost ₹ 1,53,174 on-road, and Chetak Urbane will cost ₹ 1,51,162.
In Hyderabad, Chetak Premium will cost ₹ 1,50,461 on-road, and Chetak Urbane will cost ₹ 1,48,451.
The above-mentioned on-road price is after the FAME-II subsidy. In both the cities you get a subsidy of ₹45,000.
Bajaj has also re-opened the bookings in Bangalore, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangalore, and Mysore. To book the Chetak electric, you have to visit the company’s official website. The booking amount is ₹2,000.
Bajaj Chetak Electric specifications
Bajaj Chetak Electric is available in two variants- Premium and Urbane. Both the variants have a Li-Ion battery with a range of 90+km. The battery takes 5 hours for a complete charge of 100%. Charging it to 25% takes 1 hour.
The premium version has a disc brake at the front, while the urbane version has both drum brakes.
The Premium variant comes in 4 colours, and the Urbane variant in 2 colours.
It has a top speed of 70km/hr. It also has lots of latest features like Reverse gear, USB port, Water Resistance, Regenerative Braking, Mobile App connection, and a battery warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km.
