Triton EV to manufacture Hydrogen-powered two and three-wheelers in India.

Triton EV is the first auto manufacturer in India to enter the hydrogen-powered two and three-wheeler segment.

Gujarat-based EV company Triton EV has announced that it will make hydrogen-powered two and three-wheelers in India. It is the first auto manufacturer in India to enter the hydrogen-run two and three-wheeler segment.

Triton EV believes in the value and needs for clean and sustainable energy solutions for modern world mobility. The company has decided to enter this segment when India’s smart mobility is becoming a globally acclaimed success story.

Triton EV will manufacture these two and three-wheelers at its Bhuj, Gujarat manufacturing plant. A few months ago, Triton EV acquired the 3.7 million square foot manufacturing plant in Bhuj, Gujarat, from AMW. Besides the hydrogen-powered vehicles, Triton’s electric truck will also be manufactured here.

Triton will also export these vehicles from India. The company has not revealed any other information related to these upcoming hydrogen-run vehicles.

Commenting on this decision, Mr. Himanshu B Patel, Founder and MD of Triton EV, stated, “Clean energy and clean tech are integral parts of Triton EV’s corporate vision. Hydrogen-powered vehicles are being considered the new-age mobility mantra. Since our priority is to drive the new age mobility, hydrogen-fuel-run vehicles are natural advancements for Triton EV.

Recently, Triton EV established its largest R&D center in Kheda, Anand District, near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This R&D facility is Triton EV’s global center of entire R&D activities.

The company will use this R&D facility for the development of the upcoming hydrogen-run vehicles. This global R&D center of Triton EV’s entire R&D activities also includes Triton EV Trucks, Triton EV Cars, and special-purpose vehicles.
