Mahindra to unveil five electric SUV models on Independence Day.
Mahindra will unveil its electric SUV line-up, new EV platform, and EV design philosophy on August 15, 2022, at its advanced design studio in Oxfordshire, UK.
Mahindra is all set to unveil its Born Electric Vision to the world. Today Mahindra announced that it would unveil five electric SUV models on 15th August 2022.
Mahindra will unveil its new EV platform, EV design philosophy, and electric SUV line-up in an event on August 15, 2022, at its site in Oxfordshire, UK.
Mahindra revealed the first glimpse of its global Born Electric Vision in February this year. It is developing electric SUVs at the Mahindra Advanced Design Studio in Oxfordshire, UK, with a team of global designers and experts.
Of all the five electric SUV models, the XUV400 will be the first model to be launched for sale. It will be launched in September 2022, one month after the unveiling. It will be Mahindra’s first long-range EV model and compete with the Nexon EV Max.
It has been spied during road tests a couple of times. The deliveries of XUV400 will begin in the first quarter of 2023.
Mahindra aims to have at least 30% of its SUVs be electric by 2027. Recently, UK’s development finance institution and impact investor, British International Investment, announced that it would invest up to ₹1,925 crores into Mahindra’s new passenger electric vehicle venture.
