The Vespa Elettrica electric scooter is expected to be launched in February 2021. It was first displayed in India at the Auto Expo 2020.
It comes with a 3600W DC Motor and a Li-Ion battery pack. The peak torque is 200Nm. It has a range of 100km/charge, and the battery takes 3.5 hours for a complete recharge.
The Indian version of this scooter will be designed in Italy but will be developed specifically for the Indian market.
The estimated price is ₹90,000.

Okinawa Cruiser

OKINAWA CRUISER

Okinawa unveiled the Okinawa Cruiser electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2020. It takes power from the 3000W motor and a 72 V, 55 Ah Li-Ion battery.
The company claims that it has a range of 120km/charge. It is expected to be launched in the Q1 of 2021.
It comes with features like an Anti-theft alarm, Central locking, keyless entry, and a USB charging port.

Ola Electric AppScooter

Ola is all set to enter the electric scooter market in India in 2021. Last year it bought the Amsterdam-based e-scooter company Etergo.
Ola is making the world’s largest electric scooter manufacturing factory in India.
This AppScooter has a 3kW motor. The company claims that it has a range of 240km/charge. It comes with three Li-Ion battery packs with a total capacity of 3.46kWh.
It has features like navigation, geo-fencing, mobile app connection, and a 7-inch touchscreen interface. It will cost around ₹1.5 lakhs.

The AE-29 model is an upcoming electric scooter by Hero Electric. It comes with a 1kW motor and a 3.5kWh lithium-ion battery. The Battery charging time is 4 hours.
It has a range of 80km/charge and features like Bluetooth, Anti-theft smart lock, Walk Assist, and a USB charging point.
It is expected to be priced at ₹85,000. The launch date is still not revealed.

The Mark 1 model of this company has a range of 230km/charge. The range of Mark 2 is expected to be over 270kms.
They have partnered with companies like Catia, Altair, and Ansys.
This two-wheeler will have a top speed of 100+ km/h, and a charging time of only 20 minutes.
It will be launched by March this year and the price will be around ₹1.10 lakhs.
