Tesla recalls 130,000 cars.

Tesla is recalling approx 130,000 cars in the US because of the display issues. The processor of the touchscreen infotainment display overheats while the car is fast charging. After the processor overheats, the screen starts to lag or sometimes go completely blank.

If the display lags or goes blank, it could affect other functions like the rearview camera display, warning lights, and other important information.

Tesla will recall 2021 & 2022, Model S and X, and 2022 Model 3 and Y. An over-the-air software update will resolve the issue.

So far, in 2022, Tesla has recalled more than 2 million cars over display and camera issues.
