Ola Unity Ride: Celebrating Republic Day and exciting offers on electric scooters.

More than 5,000 owners from over 100 cities participated in the Ola Unity Ride. The company also announced discounts and exchange offers on its electric scooters.

Ola Electric, the country’s largest EV company, celebrated the nation’s 74th Republic Day with the World’s Largest EV Ride. Dubbed the “Ola Unity Ride,” the event aimed to bring together EV enthusiasts and revolutionaries to join Ola’s mission to #EndICEAge (ICE refers to internal combustion engines).

The Ola Unity Ride saw participation from EV owners across the country, with over 5,000 participants from over 100 cities covering over 1.5 lakh km (cumulative).

In an effort to boost the adoption of electric vehicles in India, Ola Electric has announced a series of exciting offers for customers looking to purchase one of their scooters. The company is offering discounts of up to ₹10,000 on the purchase of the Ola S1 Pro, and an additional ₹5,000 off on the S1 Pro “Khaki Edition.”

To make the purchase even more accessible, Ola is also offering zero down payment and processing fees on their scooters, making it possible for customers to take one home for as low as ₹2,499 per month. With these offers, the company hopes to make electric scooters more affordable and accessible to the general public and accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in India.

In addition to the discounts, Ola Electric has also announced exchange offers for customers looking to upgrade to an electric scooter. Customers can avail discounts of up to ₹10,000 off on exchange of any internal combustion engine (ICE) or electric scooter with the Ola S1. This is a limited-time offer, available on a first-come, first-served basis, starting from January 26th to January 29th.

In addition to the discounts and exchange offers, Ola Electric has also been expanding its direct-to-consumer (D2C) efforts. The company currently has experience centers in operation across all major markets in India and is on track to open 200 more by the end of January 2023. The company is also working on building a robust lineup of electric vehicles to accelerate the world’s transition to electric mobility and make it more accessible to consumers. This move shows Ola’s commitment towards promoting a greener future and achieving the government’s goal of 30% of electric vehicles on the road by 2030.
