Mercedes launches the AMG EQE in two variants- 43 4MATIC and 53 4MATIC+.
Both the variants of Mercedes AMG EQE offer a performance-oriented drive and are based on the electric-exclusive Mercedes architecture of the luxury and premium class.
Mercedes is continuously expanding its product portfolio of electric cars. The latest in its electric car range is the Mercedes AMG EQE. Mercedes launched the AMG EQE in two variants- 43 4MATIC and 53 4MATIC+.
Both the AMG EQE models have a motor on each of the axles and are fully variable all-wheel drives. The EQE 43 4MATIC offers a maximum total output of 350kW (476 hp). The maximum torque is 858 Nm. It can accelerate from 0-100 in 4.2 seconds, and the top speed is 210 km/h.
The EQE 53 4MATIC+ has a maximum total output of 460 kW (626 hp), max torque of 950 Nm, max speed of 220 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0-100 in 3.5 seconds.
The AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package is also available as an option for the EQE 53 4MATIC+. It will increase the total output to 505 kW (687 hp), max torque to 1000 Nm, top speed to 240 km/h, and reduce the time taken for 0-100 acceleration to 3.3 seconds.
The Mercedes AMG EQE comes with a 328-volt high-performance, 90.6 kWh Li-Ion battery. The 43 4MATIC variant provides a range between 463-534 km, while the 53 4MATIC+ model provides a range between 459-526 km. The battery pack is installed in a crash-protected area in the car’s underbody.
Both models have a fast-charging capability. By using a 170kW DC fast charger, 180 km of range can be generated in 15 minutes.
Style-defining AMG features dominate the interior of the car. Here the new models offer a sporty ambience, including AMG seats with individual graphics and special seat covers in ARTICO artificial leather with MICROCUT microfibre and red decorative topstitching. Alternatively, seat upholstery in Nappa leather is optionally available, also with AMG-specific seat graphics.
Both new models can be optionally equipped with the innovative MBUX Hyperscreen. This large, curved screen unit extends from A-pillar to A-pillar. Three screens sit under a single glass cover and merge into one.
The price of the AMG EQE 43 4MATIC starts from $106,173, and the cost of the AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ starts from $112,257.
