Ola Electric launches Move OS 2 beta version in Mumbai.
After Bengaluru, 100 users in Mumbai got the Move OS 2 beta version.
Ola Electric gave access to the beta version of Move OS 2 to 100 users in Mumbai. Move OS is the operating system of the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
CEO of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, rolled out the beta version. He also attended the Ola Electric community meet-up.
Last week the beta access was given to 100 users in Bengaluru.
Move OS 2 beta version features.
The Move OS update unlocks some important features of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooter.
Cruise Control.
The Move OS update unlocks the Cruise Control in the Ola electric scooter. The rider has to press the reverse button at a minimum speed of 25 km/h to activate cruise control.
Eco Mode.
The new beta update also unlocks a new riding mode called the Eco Mode. The maximum speed in the eco mode is 45 km/h, and users will get a range of around 170 km in the Eco Mode.
Music System.
The new update gives access to the music system. Riders can connect the scooter with their phone and can play music on the speakers present in the scooter.
Navigation.
Navigation is one of the key features of Move OS 2. Riders can navigate through the traffic using the touchscreen display.
Other features are Remote Lock/Unlock and Dark/Light mode for the display.
Ola Electric has not revealed the date for Move OS 2 launch for all users.
Ola S1 Pro.
The Ola electric scooter is available in two variants- the S1 and S1 Pro.
The S1 model costs ₹99,999 and comes in 5 different colours, while the S1 Pro model costs ₹1,29,999 and is available in 10 vibrant colours.
Ola Electric produces this scooter in their Future factory in Tamil Nadu. The company claims that this factory is the biggest building in India. At its full capacity, it can produce one crore scooters per year.
