Electric two-wheeler sales of March- Hero Electric on top of the list.
Ola electric sales figure higher than Ather, TVS, Ampere, and Revolt. Tata Motors is leading in the electric Passenger vehicle market.
Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) revealed the electric vehicle retails of March 2022.
Hero Electric topped the sales chart in the electric two-wheeler segment with 13,023 units sold. Last year in March, the sales figure was 5235 for Hero Electric. The sales rose up with 149% of YoY growth and 77% of MoM growth.
In the second position, Ola Electric managed to sell 9127 units of their newly launched scooter Ola S1 Pro. The MoM growth of Ola Electric was 134%. In March, Ola delivered more electric scooters than Okinawa, Ampere, TVS, Ather, Pure Energy, and Revolt.
An interesting thing to note was that Honda also registered 30 scooters in March. Honda is planning to launch their electric scooter PCX electric soon. They must have registered these 30 units for testing.
A total of 49,607 electric two-wheelers were sold in March. In March 2021, the figure was 10,558. It is almost a five times growth in a year.
Electric Passenger Vehicle
Tata Motors is leading in the four-wheeler segment with a total sales figure of 3324. MG Motors has also sold a total of 90 units of their electric car MG ZS EV in March.
3594 electric passenger vehicles were registered in March 2022.
