Ampere EV launches Primus electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2023.

Along with the launch of Primus, Ampere also revealed two upcoming electric scooters, the NXG and NXU, and the parent company of Ampere, Greaves Electric Mobility, unveiled three electric 3-wheelers at the Auto Expo 2023.

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ampere EV launched a new electric scooter Primus at the Auto Expo 2023. The company also showcased two upcoming e-scooters, NXG and NXU (for last-mile deliveries).

Ampere Primus is equipped with a 3 Kwh LFP battery and offers a true range of 100+ km on a full charge. It has a 4kW mid-mount motor that helps the scooter to achieve its top speed of 77km/h and acceleration of 0-40 in less than 5 seconds. It has 4 riding modes - Eco, City, Power, and Reverse.

Primus comes with smart Bluetooth connectivity and navigation with a phone app for convenience. It will be available in 4 metallic matt colours, including Himalayan White, Royal Orange, Havelock Blue, and Buck Black. Price and other details of Ampere Primus will be revealed soon. It is open for bookings across India.

Along with the launch of Primus, Ampere also revealed two upcoming electric scooters, the NXG and NXU. Ampere NXG is a sophisticated and stylish electric scooter with IoT connectivity for discerning customers in the passenger mobility space. It will be launched this year. Ampere NXU is a robust, & connected B2B electric scooter for multiple commercial applications, such as last-mile delivery.

The parent company of Ampere, Greaves Electric Mobility, unveiled three electric 3-wheelers at the Auto Expo, Greaves ELP, ELC, and Aero Vision.

The Greaves ELP is an electric passenger 3-wheeler that will empower auto drivers with disruptive cost savings. It has a futuristic and aerodynamic design. The Greaves ELC is an electric cargo 3-wheeler that will meet the ever-growing demand for moving cargo at a much lower cost to serve. The company also revealed a futuristic cargo concept called Greaves Aero Vision.

Greaves Electric Mobility also unveiled its Made in India EV Powertrains. Greaves’ e-powertrain suite will be characterized by cutting-edge design, engineering, materials chemistry, weight, and aesthetics that will be customized to the needs of OEM customers. Each product will continue to represent the Company’s “Make in India” commitment, with a high level of localization and components obtained domestically.
