Yulu, India’s leading shared electric mobility provider, and Bajaj Auto, the world’s most valuable two-wheeler and three-wheeler company, have announced the launch of their latest two-wheeler electric vehicles, the Miracle GR and DeX GR. These new vehicles have been developed on a purpose-built platform for electric 2-wheelers and are specifically engineered for Indian consumers, climate, and road conditions.

The Miracle GR and DeX GR are exclusively manufactured by Bajaj Auto and powered by Yulu’s AI-led technology stack. These electric vehicles are made in India and designed for the world, and will be rolled out by Chetak Technology Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto.

With their unique form-factor, ergonomic design, and tech-powered utility, the Miracle GR and DeX GR are set to offer a superior experience to customers, while also improving Yulu’s overall financial metrics through higher operational efficiency. This partnership between a mobility tech company and a leading 2-wheeler OEM is the first of its kind globally and is built on the shared vision of transforming mobility through smart, shared, sustainable, and safe electric vehicles.

Yulu has doubled its fleet in the last three months and plans to deploy 100,000 vehicles on major city roads in India. The company aims to achieve more than 10 times revenue growth by the end of the year. By manufacturing its vehicles with world-class automotive manufacturer Bajaj, Yulu expects to benefit from locally sourced parts, superior production quality, and optimized economies of scale, leading to significant cost reductions and improvements in operating metrics and overall financials.

Yulu’s fleet utilizes swappable batteries and is powered by Yuma Energy. The company currently has approximately 100 Yuma stations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, with plans to expand to 500 by 2024.
