Ultraviolette launches F77 electric sports bike in India at Rs 3.8 lakh.

Ultraviolette F77 has the highest battery capacity and is the longest-range electric two-wheeler in the country.

Bengaluru-based EV company Ultraviolette has launched its first electric sports bike, F77, in India. Ultraviolette launched the bike in two variants- F77 and F77 Recon. The bike will be available in three colours- Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser. The ex-showroom price of the base variant is ₹3.8 lakh, and the Recon variant is ₹4.55 lakh.

The F77 base variant has a 7.1 kWh battery pack and a range of 206 km(IDC). The Recon variant will come with a larger battery pack of 10.3 kWh and a range of 307 km. Ultraiolette F77 Recon has the highest battery capacity on any electric two-wheeler and is the longest-range electric two-wheeler in the country.

The Ultraviolette F77 has a peak power of 27 kW (36.2hp) and a peak torque of 85 Nm. It goes from 0-60 km/h in 3.4s and 0-100 km/h in 8.3s. It has a top speed of 140 km/h.

The F77 Recon generates a peak power of 29 kW (38.8 hp) and a peak torque of 95 Nm. The top speed is 147 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 3.1 s and 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds. Both variants will have three riding modes- Glide, Combat, and Ballistic.

Ultraviolette also launched a limited edition F77, only for 77 units. The limited edition F77 will generate a 30.2 kW max power and 100 Nm torque. It will have a top speed of 152 km/h and can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 7.8 s. The limited edition models will be numbered from 001 to 077. It is priced at ₹5.5 lakh.

Price of all variants are:

  • F77 - ₹3.8 lakh
  • F77 Recon - ₹4.55 lakh
  • Limited Edition variant - ₹5.5 lakh

The F77 comes with a 5-inch TFT display, dual-channel ABS, 320 mm front disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, and a 230 mm rear disc brake with a single-piston caliper. It has features like geofencing, vehicle locator, ride analytics, mobile app connectivity, crash detection, etc.

Ultraviolette will start the deliveries of F77 in Bengaluru first in January 2023. Deliveries in other cities will begin in a phased manner. In Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Cochin, the deliveries will commence in Q2 2023. In Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Lucknow in Q3 2023 and in Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Ludhiana in Q4 2023. The company is also planning to launch the bike in Europe, North America, South America, Japan, and SE Asia.
