TVS invests in ION Mobility, a Singapore-based electric two-wheeler company.

TVS has invested in ION Mobility to provide the company necessary ecosystem support to be successful in the electric two-wheeler markets of Singapore and Indonesia.

TVS Motor Company has announced its association with Singapore-based electric two-wheeler company ION Mobility. TVS has invested in ION Mobility to provide the company necessary ecosystem support to be successful in the electric two-wheeler markets of Singapore and Indonesia. The amount invested by TVS is undisclosed.

The electric two-wheeler market in Southeast Asia is growing at a rapid pace, with increasing numbers of consumers looking for more sustainable and cost-effective modes of transportation. TVS and ION will work together to bring their products and services to these markets, with a focus on innovation, quality, and affordability.

Founded in 2019, ION Mobility is a technology-based electric two-wheeler company. The company has an electric scooter M1-S in its portfolio.

The M1-S electric scooter is powered by a high-capacity battery pack ranging from 3.5-5.5 kWh, providing a range of up to 150 km on a single charge. Its powerful motor produces 12.5 kW of peak power and 43 Nm of peak torque, enabling the scooter to reach a top speed of 105 km/h and accelerate from 0-50 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

The M1-S electric scooter is equipped with a range of advanced features including a 7-inch TFT display, keyless start, LED DRLs, 26L storage capacity, and 14-inch alloy wheels.
