Tom’s Truck Center adds Nikola Battery-Electric Semi-Trucks to EV Truck Lineup.

Southern California dealership adds Nikola Tre BEV to lineup, providing up to 330 miles of zero-emission travel for commercial trucks.

Tom’s Truck Center, a leader in commercial truck sales and service in Southern California, has recently announced that it will add the Class 8 Nikola Tre battery-electric vehicle (BEV) to its electric commercial truck lineup. With zero emissions, the Nikola Tre BEV is expected to travel up to 330 miles on a single charge, making it an ideal choice for companies looking for sustainable transportation options. Tom’s Truck Center’s two dealerships, located along Interstate 5 in Santa Ana and Santa Fe Springs, will now offer Nikola’s zero-emission trucks for sale, while the Nikola Tre hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is expected to be available by the end of this year.

Tom’s Truck Center’s decision to expand its electric commercial truck lineup highlights the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions in the commercial trucking industry. With the introduction of the Nikola Tre BEV, Tom’s Truck Center joins the ranks of companies across the globe working to reduce their carbon footprint and embrace a greener future.

The Nikola Tre BEV, which can travel up to 330 miles on a single charge, provides an impressive range for an electric commercial truck, making it an attractive option for companies looking to cut down on fuel costs and reduce their environmental impact. In addition to Nikola’s zero-emission trucks, Tom’s Truck Center currently offers GreenPower EV cargo vans, Ford EV Transit cargo vans, and REE EV Platforms. Next year, the company plans to add Hino EV and Isuzu EV trucks to its electric commercial truck lineup.

To accommodate the charging needs of its customers, Tom’s Truck Center has also installed fast chargers at its two dealerships, providing convenient recharging options for its electric commercial trucks.

“We are dedicated to supporting the transition to zero-emission vehicles in the commercial truck space and adding Nikola Tre BEVs, and soon Nikola Tre FCEVs, is the perfect addition,” said Tom’s Truck Center President and CEO KC Heidler. “Converting vehicles of this size to electric will be a game changer in reducing overall emissions. We have already seen robust sales of the new Nikola trucks; we completed our first 14 BEV sales last month, which are expected to take delivery in May, and are on track for even more in the coming months.”
