Tirex to supply EV chargers to Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Tirex won the contract from Indian Oil Corporation Limited to supply twenty-five DC fast chargers of various capacities with a CCS2 connecter.

Ahmedabad-based EV charger OEM Tirex Chargers announced that it got a contract to supply EV chargers to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). IOCL has called for vendors for supplying EV charging stations for several locations nationwide, and Tirex won the contract from IOCL to supply EV chargers at retail outlets.

As per the contract, Tirex will supply twenty-five DC fast chargers of various capacities with a CCS2 connecter to IOCL. That will allow charging more than one vehicle simultaneously by using shared power. That will help to avoid long queues in the EV charging stations. These chargers will be compatible with most new-age electric vehicles available in India.

Tirex has supplied EV chargers to esteemed organizations like NTPC, KSEBL, Power Grid, Ashok Leyland, Fortum, Olectra, Adani, and many more. Recently, the company also got a contract from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to set up 60 EV chargers at HPCL’s franchise outlets in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
