Tesla releases quarter two 2022 financial results.

Tesla delivered over 254,000 vehicles in quarter two, and June 2022 was the highest vehicle production month in Tesla’s history.

Tesla has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2022. Despite the ongoing supply chain challenges and factory shutdowns in China because of COVID-19, Tesla produced over 258,000 vehicles and delivered over 254,000 vehicles.

Tesla also said that June 2022 was the highest vehicle production month in Tesla’s history.

In the second quarter, Tesla delivered 16,162 Model S/X and 238,533 Model 3/Y. The total number of deliveries from April to June 2022 was 254,695.

Tesla produced a total of 258,589 vehicles in the second quarter, out of which 16,411 were Model S/X and 242,169 were Model 3/Y.

Both the number of deliveries and production of vehicles is less than the first quarter of 2022. In the first quarter, Tesla produced 305,407 vehicles and sold 310,048. The main reason for this decline is the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai, because of which production was halted in Giga Shanghai.

Tesla reported revenue of $16,934 billion and earnings per share of $2.27.

Tesla also achieved a milestone by producing its two millionth car at the Fremont, California factory.
