Tesla increases car prices in US and China.

The prices are raised because of supply chain problems and increase in raw material costs.

Tesla has increased prices for all its cars in the US and Model Y in China. The prices are raised because of the continuous global supply chain problem and increasing raw material costs.

The cost of raw materials like aluminum and lithium( used in EV batteries) continues to surge. Elon Musk has also said that lithium is responsible for price increases and is a limiting factor to EV growth.

In the US, Model Y long-range price increased to $65,990 from $62,990, while Model Y Performance went from $67,990 to $69,990.

The price of Model 3 long-range went from $54,490 to $57,990, Model S Dual Motor AWD Long Range from $99,990 to $104,990, and Model X Dual Motor AWD Long Range went from $114,990 to $120,990.

The price of Model S and X Plaid remains the same.

In China, the price of Model Y long-range increased by 5% to 394,900 yuan, while prices for other versions remain the same.
