Tata Power to set up EV chargers at JP Infra's residential projects in Mumbai.

Tata Power will install over 60 EV charging stations across all JP Infra's projects in Mumbai.

EV charging infrastructure provider and integrated power company Tata Power have announced that it has partnered with JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited, one of the prominent real estate developers in Mumbai, to install over 60 electric vehicle charging points.

Tata Power will set up EV charging infrastructure at JP North Garden City (North Euphoria, North Alexa, North Aviva, Codename Dream Home), North Barcelona, and North Imperia.

Residents with EVs will have access to a 24×7 charging facility. They can connect through the Tata Power EZ mobile application for all services, including remote vehicle charging monitoring and e-payments. The partnership will enable the residents to access a constant and universal EV charging experience.

This is not the first time that Tata Power has partnered with real estate developers to install EV chargers. It has partnered with Kolte-Patil Developers (KPDL), Rustomjee Group, and National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO). Recently, it partnered with JLL India to provide EV charging solution to its clients.

Commenting on the partnership, Tata Power’s spokesperson, said: We are spearheading the EV charging revolution in the country and making sustainable mobility attainable for lakhs of EV owners. We are scaling up our EV charging infrastructure in the state to contribute to the Maharashtra Govt.’s aim of a rapid transition to green mobility. The collaboration with JP infra will provide a seamless charging experience to its residents and accelerate the adoption of EV vehicles.
