Tata Motors gets the biggest EV fleet order

Tata Motors has signed an agreement with Gurugram-based electric cab company BluSmart Electric Mobility to deliver 10,000 units of its electric car -Xpres T EV. This is the biggest EV fleet order in India.

Both companies signed the agreement on the occasion of World Environment Day. BluSmart is planning to build a large-scale EV mobility ecosystem in India. This deal will help them get closer to their aim of becoming India’s largest fully-electric ride-hailing service provider.

Deliveries of the vehicles will start soon. It is not BluSmart’s first order for the Xpres T EVs. In October 2021, it placed an order for 3500 Xpres T electric cars.
