Revolt Motors, the largest electric motorcycle manufacturer in India, has announced the reopening of bookings for its popular RV400 e-motorcycle from February 22nd. The company had initially launched the RV400 in August 2019 and had opened bookings for the bike in July 2020, which received an overwhelming response, leading to the company closing bookings within just two hours.

The reopening of bookings for the RV400 is a good opportunity for those who missed the chance earlier, as well as for new buyers who are looking for an eco-friendly mode of transportation. The booking amount is ₹2,499.

Revolt Motors was started by Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Micromax mobiles, and it has quickly become a major player in the electric motorcycle market in India. The company has over 35 dealerships across 22 states, and its manufacturing plant is in Manesar, Haryana. Rattan India, a major infrastructure finance company, acquired a 100% stake in Revolt Motors last month, and it is now increasing its production capacity to meet the growing demand.

The reopening of bookings for the RV400 is a significant step for Revolt Motors, which is striving to make electric mobility more accessible to the masses.

The RV400 has a top speed of 85 km/h and a range of 150 km on a single charge. It comes with features like a remote start, bike locator, geofencing, and a removable battery, making it an attractive option for buyers.
