This is OSM's 4th manufacturing plant, and it has the capacity to manufacture 500 electric three-wheelers per month.

Omega Seiki Mobility has inaugurated a new EV manufacturing plant in Chakan, Pune. This new plant can manufacture 500 electric vehicles per month. It will start by manufacturing electric cargo three-wheelers, and later on, electric passenger three-wheelers will also be manufactured here.

OSM is rapidly expanding its manufacturing capacity. It already has three manufacturing plants in Faridabad and a combined manufacturing capacity of 2600 electric three-wheelers per month. The Pune plant is its first plant in the western region. OSM is also building two more manufacturing units in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

OSM’s upcoming plant in Karnataka will be the world’s largest electric three-wheeler plant. It will have the capacity to produce 1 million electric three-wheelers annually. This plant would be constructed with an investment of $250 million, and production is expected to start next year.

A few days ago, OSM also entered the electric passenger vehicle segment with the launch of its first electric passenger 3-wheeler called OSM Stream. With its rapid expansion across the country, Omega Seiki Mobility is eyeing to become the number 1 three-wheeler company.
