Ola S1 goes on sale-Here is how to buy it!

The Ola Electric Scooter- S1 and S1 Pro finally go on sale from today. The whole process of buying the electric scooter online.
The complete process to buy the Ola S1 or S1 Pro is as follows:
Reserve the scooter.
The first thing to do is to reserve the scooter from the Ola Electric website. Reserving the scooter costs ₹499. After the reservation, when the purchase window opens, you will get notified through email, SMS, or push notification. You can visit the updated Ola app (latest version), click on the Ola Scooter banner on the home page, and initiate the purchase process.
Pick the variant and colour.
You can choose between the Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro. After that, you have to choose from 10 available colours.
Ola S1 is available in 5 colours and the S1 Pro in 10 colours.
Pay the advance payment.
You will need to pay an advance of ₹ 20,000 for purchasing your Ola S1 / Ola S1 Pro and the rest before shipment. Convenient EMI options are also available to make the rest of the payment.
The advance payment is refundable if you wish to cancel the booking.
Cancellation is allowed only till the scooter is shipped from the Ola Futurefactory.
Buying Insurance for the scooter.
You can insure your Ola scooter during purchase. With insurance offerings by OLA Financial Services, you can choose comprehensive policies from trusted insurance partners. 5 years’ Third Party’ is mandatory as per IRDAI with new scooter purchase and is required for the registration process. 1-year Own damage is recommended to cover scooter accidental damages. You can also choose from other add-ons such as Personal Accident Cover, Zero Depreciation, and Roadside Assistance.
Delivery.
Deliveries will start from October 2021 onwards. Your scooter will be delivered directly to your home. You will be notified about the delivery dates within 72 hours of purchase.
Subsidies.
The Ola S1 and S1 Pro are eligible for both FAME-II and State subsidies. To claim the subsidy, you will need to have a valid Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or a Driver’s License.
