Ola Electric to take part in EICMA 2022.

Ola Electric is taking part in the EICMA for the first time. The company will showcase the S1 Pro electric scooter at the event in Hall 24, Booth G69.

Indian EV manufacturer Ola Electric is making its debut at the EICMA 2022. EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori), or the Milan Motorcycle Show, is an annual event for the entire 2-wheel sector globally. Two wheeler companies from around the world take part in this event.

The EICMA is taking place this year between November 8 and 13, at Milano Rho-Fiera. Ola Electric is taking part in the EICMA for the first time. The company will showcase the S1 Pro electric scooter at the event in Hall 24, Booth G69.

On Diwali this year, Ola announced its international plans. The company will launch the scooters in Europe, Latin America, and ASEAN (Southeast Asian Nations). The company has already partnered with CG Motors to launch the scooters in Nepal. CEO of Ola Electric, Bhavish Agarwal, has also talked about the company’s international plans. He said that Ola would lead the EV revolution in India, and the company would produce EVs in India and export to the whole world.

Ola Electric is building India’s largest EV ecosystem. Not only electric two-wheelers, but the company is also developing electric four-wheelers and Lithium-ion cells.

In 2024, Ola will launch its first electric car. The car will be one of the fastest cars in India, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds. The electric car will have a range of 500 km per charge. It will have Ola’s homemade MoveOS and assisted driving capabilities.

Ola is building its car manufacturing plant near its current future factory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The upcoming car manufacturing plant will be spread across 200 acres of land and will have the capacity to produce 10 lakh cars per year. It will be India’s largest integrated and automated manufacturing plant.

Ola is also building a Li-ion cell manufacturing plant. The cell plant will be India’s largest Lithium-Ion cell manufacturing plant, with a capacity of 100GWh. This plant will be spread across 100 acres of land and will produce four different cell variants. The production is expected to begin next year. Ola also got the PLI scheme approval for cell manufacturing from the MHI.
