Mercedes reveals a new all-electric compact SUV- Mercedes EQA.
The Mercedes EQA can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.9seconds. The top speed is 160km/h. The battery capacity is 66.5kWh, which gives it a range of 486km/charge.
Mercedes revealed its new all-electric compact SUV- Mercedes EQA. It is one of the six EQ models that the company will launch by the end of 2022.
Mercedes Benz EQA specifications
The Mercedes EQA is available in a 250 model with 190PS/ 375Nm front-wheel-drive electric motor. The EQA can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.9seconds. The top speed is 160km/h. The battery capacity is 66.5kWh, which gives it a range of 486km/charge.

The battery is on the floor within a frame made out of extruded sections. A battery guard in the front protects the battery from any sharp and dangerous objects.
The EQA comes with a Mercedes Wallbox fast charger, which you can install at your house or garage. It can charge the vehicle three times faster than a typical charger.
At the DC fast charging station, you can charge it from 10 to 80% in just 30 minutes. Also, you can recharge it at public AC charging stations with up to 11kW.
Mercedes Benz EQA Design
Mercedes EQA is similar to the GLA model. It is built-in Rastatt (Germany) and Beijing (China).
The new EQA features a black panel radiator grille in the front. A continuous LED light strip runs from the front to the rear, giving it a nice EV look.
A fiber-optic strip as a DRL ensures better recognisability both in daylight and at night.
In the interior, you get a MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system. With the use of MBUX, you can set the pre-entry climate control for the interior before starting.
There are two 7-inches dashboard which you can upgrade to 10.25 inch.
Some of the interior features include 64-colour ambient light, adaptive high beam assist, four-way adjustable lumbar support, a reversing camera, and an intelligent navigation system.

Mercedes Benz EQA Safety features
The all-new EQA has a next-generation driving assistance system, which protects the passengers and other road commuters.
It also comes with Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist. The Active brake assist applies the brake autonomously to prevent accidents.
Some other safety features include the turning maneuver function, the emergency corridor function, the exit warning function alerting the driver to approaching cyclists or vehicles, and a warning on pedestrians detection near zebra crossings.

In Europe, this car will be available this spring. But for its launch in India, we have to wait for a while.
