Mahindra XUV400 has made its entry into the India Book of Records by setting a new benchmark for the maximum distance covered by an electric vehicle (EV) in 24 hours at sub-zero temperatures. The EV car expedition was conducted in subzero temperatures at an average speed of 50kmph. The Mahindra XUV400 has been rigorously tested under extreme weather conditions, ranging from +47°C (Jaisalmer) to –20°C (South Korea). This feat demonstrates the capability of the EV to withstand extreme weather conditions, making it a highly reliable and durable vehicle for consumers.

The Mahindra XUV400 is equipped with advanced features, including a long-range battery, regenerative braking, and fast-charging capabilities. These features make it an ideal choice for consumers who are looking for an environmentally friendly and technologically advanced vehicle.

XUV400 EC is powered by a 34.5 kWh battery, which offers an MIDC range of 375 km. It will come with two charger options – a 3.3 kW charger and a 7.2 kW charger. The EL variant is powered by a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, offers an MIDC range of up to 456 km, and comes along with a 7.2 kW charger.

The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV boasts powerful performance, with a 110kW (150PS) output and 310 Nm of torque for both of its variants. It also stands out in its class for its impressive acceleration, reaching 0-100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds and a top speed of 150 kmph, making it the fastest non-luxury electric SUV on the market.

Built on the platform of the XUV300, which earned a five-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests, the XUV400 also features advanced safety features such as six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ISOFIX seats, and more.
