This new facility is part of M&M’s previously announced ₹1000 Crore investment in Telangana, which was revealed in February 2023. The company intends to use the new manufacturing unit to build a state-of-the-art battery assembly line that will produce power packs, electronic components, and drivetrain components for electric three- and four-wheelers. The facility is also expected to create employment opportunities for 800 to 1000 people in the region.

I am sure that this facility will go a long way in generating employment and sustaining livelihoods.”
