Joy E-bike to establish 150 new distributor showrooms in India.

Currently, Joy E-bike has over 600 touch-points across the country, and the new distribution model will ensure efficient supply chain management for the distributors and dealers.

Joy E-bike, India’s leading two-wheeler EV manufacturer, has announced a significant restructuring of its distribution-dealer model in a move aimed at increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. The company plans to establish 150 ‘Distributor Showrooms’ at the district level to ensure effective supply chain management for distributors and dealers, and to make the process of purchasing vehicles easier for customers.

Currently, the company has over 600 touch-points across the country, but the new distribution model aims to promote high-performing Taluka-level dealers to the next level of District Distributors. The decision to establish these showrooms was taken by the company’s management, and existing dealers who have supported Joy e-bike in becoming a reputable brand will be given the opportunity to become a distributor.

The number of distributors established will depend on population and demand in each district, and the process of establishing the new distribution model has been pre-scheduled by a year to meet the growing demand for the company’s products. With over 10 models in its portfolio in both high and low-speed categories, Joy e-bike has a strong presence in more than 55 major cities across India and aims to expand to every nook and corner of the country.

The company has recently begun the phased delivery of its new electric two-wheeler MIHOS and electric three-wheeler Joy e-rik in Gujarat and Maharashtra. These moves are part of the company’s efforts to establish itself as a major player in the EV market in India.

This restructuring is a significant move for Joy e-bike, and it is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s overall performance. The establishment of distributor showrooms at the district level will improve supply chain management and help the company to strengthen its relationships with dealers. The move will also make it easier for customers to purchase Joy e-bike’s products, leading to increased sales and revenue for the company.

Speaking about the decision, Mr. Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd, said, “Owing to the high demand of our vehicles, we decided to pre-schedule the advancement of our distribution model to bridge the demand and supply gap, and elevate customer-experience. The process of evaluation has already been initiated, and we aim to develop 150 distributor showrooms by September this year. Our loyal and high-performing dealers will be promoted as Distributors who will act like the frontline company representatives at the district level. We intend to make our products easily accessible to all in order to push India’s transition to EVs.”
