Joy e-bike sells more than 43,000 electric two-wheelers in 2022.

Joy e-bike registered a 131.6% YoY growth in its E2W sales and sold 43,914 electric two-wheelers in 2022.

WardWizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., which operates the electric two-wheeler brand Joy e-bike, announced the delivery results of 2022. Joy e-bike registered a 131.6% YoY growth in its E2W sales and sold 43,914 electric two-wheelers in 2022. In 2021, the number was 18,963.

In December 2022, the company sold 5,400 electric two-wheelers, a 39.89% YoY growth. Joy e-bike has also sold more than 30,000 units (30,493) of electric two-wheelers in the first three quarters of this financial year (April- December 2022), logging a growth of 75.8% as compared to the same period of last financial year.

In 2022, WardWizard made new investments to meet the growing EV demands. The company acquired 4 Million sq. ft. of land for the development of India’s First Ever Electric Vehicle Ancillary Cluster in Vadodara. It also signed an MoU with Singapore-based renewable energy management consulting firm Sunkonnect to set up a Li-ion advance cells manufacturing unit at this EV ancillary cluster.

WardWizard is also planning to set up its first Global R&D headquarters in Singapore. The company will establish the Centre and Global sales office under its wholly owned subsidiary Ward wizard Global Pte Ltd, in Singapore.

In 2022, Joy e-bike entered into the high-speed scooter segment with the launch of Wolf+ and Gen Next Nanu+. The company also launched its first fleet management high-speed electric two-wheeler ‘Del Go’.
