Infinity E1- India’s first Electric Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service option launched.
Bounce launched the electric scooter Infinity E1 with dual buying options- Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service and Scooter with battery and charger.
Two-wheeler rental company, Bounce launched its electric scooter Infinity E1. It comes with two buying options- Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service and Scooter with battery and charger.
The scooter with battery and charger is ₹ 68,999 (Delhi Ex-showroom), and the price for Scooter with Battery-as-a-Service is ₹ 45,099 (Delhi Ex-Showroom) plus subscription to Battery-as-a-Service.
Let’s understand what the Battery-as-a-Service option is.
What is Battery as a Service option?
If the buyer opts for the Battery-as-a-Service option, they will get the electric scooter without the battery and charger.
In this plan, you have to pay only for the scooter. After that, you have to buy a subscription plan offered by Bounce. Once subscribed, you can use Bounce’s battery-swapping network. You will have to pay for battery swaps whenever you swap a low-charged or empty battery with a fully charged one from Bounce’s swapping network. Each swap will cost you around ₹35.
Bounce is aiming to build the world’s largest and densest battery swapping platform to support India’s transition to clean mobility. They plan to offer a swapping facility within one kilometre distance for its customers.
Recently they partnered with Park Plus to build 3500+ battery swapping networks across 10 cities in India.

I think Battery-as-a-Service is a good option its like a fuel station where you can refuel your bike when ever you want. but can you share the time taken to deliver a new battery. I mean fully charge battery against low battery.
