Hero MotoCorp launches Vida V1 electric scooter in two variants, Pro and Plus.

Hero MotoCorp is launching the Vida V1 electric scooter in Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Jaipur first. Bookings for other cities will be started in December.

Hero MotoCorp has entered the EV segment with the launch of its first electric scooter, Vida V1. Hero has launched the new e-scooter in two variants, V1 Pro and V1 Plus.

The ex-showroom price of both variants are:

  • Vida V1 Plus- ₹1,45,000
  • Vida V1 Pro- ₹1,59,000.

Hero MotoCorp claims that the V1 Plus will have a range of 143 km, and the Pro variant will have a range of 165 km. Both variants have a top speed of 80 km/h and come with fast charging support at a rate of 1.2 km/min. The Plus variant can accelerate from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds, and the Pro can do the same in 3.2 seconds.

The Vida V1 comes with multiple riding modes, Eco, Ride, and Sports. The performance and range of the scooter depend on these modes. The scooter also has a custom mode in which the rider can customize the performance, range, and regen, and have over 100 combinations as per their riding needs.

The Hero MotoCorp Vida V1 electric scooter comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display, cruise control, keyless control, find my scooter function, SOS alert, and two-way throttle for reverse, parking, & boost mode.

Hero also launched the Vida Platform and Services. The platform consists of the My Vida mobile app. Using the platform, customers can discover, learn, take test rides, purchase, take deliveries, and even get the scooter serviced.

Hero is also offering additional benefits, such as lower interest EMIs, buy-back assurance at 70% of purchase value between 16-18 months of ownership, three days long test ride program, RSA with repair on site, etc.

Hero also unveiled the fast charging network. Vida V1 users can locate the fast charging station and reserve a charging slot by using the mobile app. The scooter also comes with a portable charger. The batteries are removable, so the users can also charge the battery by removing it from the scooter.

Initially, Hero MotoCorp is launching the Vida V1 in three cities, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Jaipur. The online bookings for these three cities will open on 10th October 2022, and the deliveries will begin in the second week of December. Bookings for other cities will be started in December.
