Greaves Electric Mobility to unveil five brand-new EVs in 2023.

Greaves Electric Mobility will unveil five electric two and three-wheelers at the Auto Expo 2023.

The parent company of Ampere EV, Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), has shared its EV roadmap for the future. GEMPL will launch five brand-new electric two and three-wheelers next year. The company will unveil these EVs at the Auto Expo 2023.

This year in June, Greaves Electric Mobility raised ₹1100 crores from Saudi Arabia-based investor Abdul Latif Jameel. The company has used the funds to develop these new EVs for both B2B and B2C space.

The new range will include an all-new electric scooter with a premium design and a next-generation, aero-efficient electric cargo 3-wheeler. The new products will sport a sophisticated and modern design language backed by rigorous engineering and development. Each product is carefully optimized to address future customer expectations, Indian road use conditions, and operating economics.

Commenting on the exciting product portfolio, Mr. Nagesh Basavanhalli, Executive Vice Chairman of Greaves Cotton Limited, said, “This Auto Expo is a milestone for GEMPL. GEMPL sells electric two-wheelers under the brand ‘Ampere’, which is one of the best-selling e-scooter brands in India. The company also manufactures electric three-wheeler vehicles under the brands Ele and Teja. In Q2, GEMPL recorded its highest-ever sales of 33,000 units of electric 2 and 3-wheelers.
