Fisker EV owners in North America will get access to over 210,000 charging ports managed by ChargePoint Holdings.

Fisker, the American EV manufacturer, has announced a partnership with ChargePoint Holdings, a leading EV charging network, to provide charging solutions for Fisker EV owners in North America. The collaboration will give Fisker owners access to over 210,000 active ports under management, including over 16,700 DC fast charge ports and over 400,000 roaming ports, making it easier to find reliable charging.

The partnership aims to make it easy for Fisker drivers to access ChargePoint’s network of Level 2 and DC fast chargers, as well as roaming partner stations, which together encompass more than 80% of public charging spots in North America. This will enable Fisker owners to charge their EVs quickly and efficiently while on the go, without worrying about running out of power.

Starting with the delivery of Fisker Ocean vehicles in the US and Canada, the ChargePoint network will be accessible to Fisker owners. The Fisker Ocean’s navigation system and the ChargePoint mobile app will allow drivers to locate ChargePoint and roaming partner charging stations. Upon launch, drivers can use the app and the Ocean’s central touchscreen to search and navigate to charging stations, filter search for DC fast charge locations, perform basic EV route planning, and calculate estimated arrival times at charging stops.

Fisker’s revolutionary all-electric SUV, Ocean, is available in four different trim levels: Ocean One, Extreme, Ultra, and Sport. The limited edition Ocean One is already sold out. The top-tier Extreme trim boasts a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain, three driving modes, Smart Traction, and numerous innovative safety features, including the world’s first digital radar. It also features a Revolve 17.1″ rotating screen, a SolarSky roof, and California Mode. With a range of up to 350 miles1 on a single charge, the Ocean Extreme is priced at $68,9992 in the US. This package offers many first-to-market features, making it a highly competitive option for those seeking a premium EV driving experience.

Fisker started the production of Ocean in November of last year in Austria. The company will produce over 300 units in Q1 of 2023 and increase it to over 8,000 units in Q2. In Q3, the company will produce more than 15,000 units, and in Q4, the company will finish the year with enough units to total 42,400. Fisker has received over 63,000 bookings for the Ocean. Delivery dates are not announced yet.

Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker, said: The minute they get their new Fisker Ocean, our owners want convenient and easy-to-locate public charging stations, a quick, easy experience when using a public charger, and super-simple payment options. Together with ChargePoint, we are providing a class-leading public charging option for Fisker owners at delivery.
