Fisker Ocean SUV deliveries in Europe set to begin from May 5.

Fisker plans to deliver all Ocean Ones by September and initiate deliveries of Ocean Extreme in Europe, boasting the longest range of any battery-electric SUV currently on sale in the region.

Fisker Inc. has announced that its Fisker Ocean SUV has been certified by European regulators. The certification means that the company is now set to start deliveries to European customers from May 5, with the aim of delivering all Ocean Ones by the end of September.

In addition to the Ocean One, Fisker has also been working on the Ocean Extreme, which has recently been given WLTP certification of up to 707 km/440 UK miles (on 20-inch wheels and tires), making it the longest-range battery-electric SUV currently on sale in the region. The company plans to start deliveries of the Ocean Extreme in Europe, with the U.S. market to follow.

Fisker has taken a unique approach to the homologation process, pursuing dual certification in both Europe and the United States simultaneously. This approach allows the company to adjust production and sales based on regional demand, ensuring that it can meet the needs of its customers in both markets.

As part of the certification process, the company has built several mid-trim level all-wheel-drive Ocean Ultras, as well as front-wheel-drive Fisker Ocean Sports, which are the lowest-priced trim level, for testing and homologation purposes. Customers can expect delivery of these trims to begin in September.

Overall, this is great news for Fisker and its customers, as the company continues to make progress in delivering its innovative and eco-friendly vehicles.

“The entire team is excited to get the Ocean One launch edition to our reservation holders,” said Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker. “Our first delivery is expected for May 5. After that, we intend to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September while also initiating some deliveries of the Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe with the U.S. to follow.”
