Citroen India partners with Jio-bp to build EV charging network.

Citroen is all set to launch its e-C3 all-electric vehicle in India in Q1 2023. After the partnership with Jio-bp, My Citroen Connect app will get access to Jio-bp's charging infrastructure network.

Citroen India and Jio-bp have joined hands to develop EV charging infrastructure and services throughout India. Jio-bp will roll out DC fast chargers at Citroen’s key dealership locations and workshops in stages. These chargers will be available to all EV car owners to increase EV adoption among consumers.

As the Citroen e-C3 all-electric vehicle is set to be launched in Q1 2023, this partnership will ensure that the My Citroen Connect app has access to Jio-bp’s charging infrastructure network, and all e-C3 owners can use the chargers.

Jio-bp operates a growing network of EV charging and swapping stations under the Jio-bp Pulse brand. The full range of services can be accessed through its mobile app, which allows customers to easily find EV charging stations nearby, and make digital payments.

To become one of India’s largest EV charging networks, Jio-bp is developing an electric mobility ecosystem that will benefit all players in the EV value chain. It is expanding its network by installing charging stations in multiple locations within cities and on major highways to ensure convenient intra-city and inter-city travel for EV owners.
