Cenntro Electric reveals Logistar 260, a new all-electric commercial van.

Cenntro Electric has developed the Logistar 260 for a wide range of applications in the trades, couriers, express and parcel services, logistics solutions, and facility management.

Electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Cenntro Electric Group Limited expanded their Logistar series with the launch of a new all-electric commercial van, Logistar 260 or LS 260. The deliveries of the LS 260 will begin in Europe in the first quarter of 2023, followed by launches in Asia, the Caribbean, and South American markets.

The Logistar 260 defines a new size in the van segment. It is 5.50 m long, 1.85 m wide, and its height 2m. It offers a cargo space of 7.5 cubic meters or 265 cubic feet. It has two side loading doors and convenient rear doors with a loading opening of up to 270°.

Cenntro Electric has developed this EV for a wide range of applications in the trades, couriers, express and parcel services, logistics solutions, and facility management.

The LS 260 is expected to pass all homologation tests per European Union (EU) standards and requirements and receive EU-type approval at the end of 2022.

We are confident that the Logistar 260, with its aluminum body and unique dimensions, will meet our customers’ needs without sacrificing function and performance.

Cenntro Electric recently rolled out the first Logistar 100, a light electric commercial van. The deliveries will begin in Europe in September, followed by launches in Asia, the Caribbean, and South America markets.

Recently, the company established a subsidiary Cennatic Power Inc., to manufacture advanced lithium-ion batteries. Cennatic will manufacture Li-ion batteries at its purpose-built manufacturing facility at Aero Industrial Park in Monterrey, Mexico. Cennatic expects to complete the production line installation by the end of 2022 and begin trial production in the first half of 2023.
