BMW puts the all-electric iX1 on display at the Tomorrowland music festival.

BMW partnered with Tomorrowland and co-created an exclusive wrap for the BMW iX1 with the artist Steve Aoki.

Music is one of the most important pillars of the global marketing mix of BMW. The company believes that music is the global language that inspires, shapes memories, encourages people to come together, and is one of the best ways to connect with people. So to spread its brand awareness through music, BMW has partnered with the world’s biggest music festival, Tomorrowland.

BMW created a unique design for its all-electric car, iX1, to put it on display at the Tomorrowland festival. BMW co-created an exclusive wrap for the BMW iX1 with two-time Grammy-nominated music producer, artist, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and NFT visionary, Steve Aoki.

The exclusive BMW iX1 x Steve Aoki carries with it all the wishes and aspirations of festival visitors. The uniquely designed car will be on display in “The Magical Forest of Joy” by BMW during the three weekends of the festival. The BMW stand is open to all visitors where they can pose for photos and videos with the all-electric BMW iX1.

BMW revealed the iX1 in June this year. It has two motors- one at the front axle and another at the rear. These motors deliver a combined output of 230 kW/313hp and overall torque of 494 Nm.

This electric all-wheel-drive system helps the car reach the 100km/h mark from rest in 5.7 seconds. The top speed of the car is 180 km/h.

The 64.7 kWh high-voltage battery, positioned flat within the vehicle’s underbody, provides a range of 413-438 km. The energy density of the battery is 152 Wh/kg in relation to its weight or 199 Wh/l in relation to its volume. The iX1 will be available for sale in October 2022.
