Audi reports a 44.3 percent YoY increase in EV sales, selling over 100k units in 2022.

The all-electric models of Audi, Q4 e-tron, e-tron GT quattro, and e-tron are in huge demand. Starting in 2026, Audi will only introduce all-electric cars to the global market.

Audi registered a 44% increase in all-electric car deliveries in 2022 and delivered 118,196 units. The continued electrification strategy of Audi helped it reach the results.

In Europe, Audi registered an increase in all-electric model demands. Sales of the Q4 e-tron increased by 99.4%, e-tron GT by 29.2%, and e-tron by 8.5% in Europe. In its home market, Germany, Audi reported an 87.8% increase in sales of its fully electric models.

In 2022, demand for all-electric Audi models in the US remained strong, as evidenced by the record-breaking 16,177 vehicle sales, a 47.3% increase from the previous year. The e-tron model alone saw 10,397 sales, a 7.2% increase. With the addition of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron, Audi now boasts the largest selection of electric vehicles in the market.

In China, the deliveries of fully electric models increased by 9.8%. In 2022, the company successfully grew its electric portfolio in China with the new Q5 e-tron Roadjet, the Q4 e-tron, and the RS e-tron GT.

The strong demand for the all-electric Q4 e-tron, e-tron GT Quattro, and e-tron models confirms Audi’s commitment to an all-electric future. The upcoming Q8 e-tron is set to continue the success of the e-tron line as a leader in electric vehicles. The model has already garnered many preorders before its launch in spring 2023. From 2026, Audi will only introduce all-electric cars to the global market.
