Audi announces H1 2022 results; Delivers over 50,000 all-electric vehicles.

Audi H1 2022 results show 24,200 EV deliveries in Q1 and 25,800 deliveries in Q2.

Premium automaker Audi announced its H1 2022 results. From January to June 2022, Audi delivered 50,033 all-electric vehicles worldwide. EV deliveries increased by 52.7% compared to the previous year. The share of all-electric vehicles delivered by the Audi increased to 6.3%.

Audi e-Tron was the best-selling model in H1 with ~24,700 deliveries. In Q1, the company delivered 24,200 EVs, and in Q2, it delivered 25,800 EVs globally.

Audi successfully rolled out its charging hub in H1 2022. Audi is planning to make a widespread network of fast chargers in Europe.

The feedback from customers on the launch of the pilot site in Nuremberg is extremely positive, with a hub in Salzburg and other locations to follow in the course of 2022,” says Hildegard Wortmann, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing.

Audi also started the construction of a new EV plant in Changchun, China, in June this year. The construction is set to finish by the end of 2024. The factory will produce 150,000 electric vehicles per year.

In the first six months of the year, the Audi Group generated revenues of €29.86 billion ($30.54 billion). The operating profit grew up by 58.5% to €4.9 billion ($ 5 billion).
