Amazon plans to add 10,000 EVs to its delivery fleet in India by 2025. To achieve this target, Amazon India has partnered with Magenta Mobility. Magenta Mobility is an integrated electric mobility and charging solutions firm.

Under this partnership, Magenta Mobility will deploy electric three and four-wheelers for Amazon India in Hyderabad. It will also install charging infrastructure for EVs.

Magenta Mobility started in 2017 as an integrated clean energy and electric mobility solutions provider. It has partnered with various e-commerce companies like Big Basket, Flipkart, Porter, Udaan, etc.

On this partnership, Maxson Lewis, Founder and Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, said: This launch in Hyderabad is a continuation of our collaboration with Amazon that started in Bengaluru and will help transform a significant number of Amazon’s last-mile delivery fleet to EVs and encourage the e-commerce industry to decarbonise last-mile logistics.
