7-Eleven Launches 7Charge EV Charging Network.

7-Eleven's proprietary EV charging network and app 7Charge offers a convenient and reliable fast-charging experience at select stores in U.S. and Canada.

In a move that aligns with the growing trend towards electric vehicles (EVs) in North America, 7-Eleven, Inc. has announced the launch of its proprietary EV charging network and app, called 7Charge.

The new network, which is already operational in select locations in four states, including California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas, will offer customers a convenient and reliable fast-charging experience at select 7-Eleven stores.

The company plans to expand the network to cover the entire U.S. and Canada, which will make it one of the largest and most compatible EV charging networks of any retailer in North America.

With the launch of 7Charge, 7-Eleven is responding to the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure and is committed to delivering on its trademark convenience and accessibility to EV drivers.

The charging sites will be compatible with common CHAdeMO or Combined Charging System (CCS) plug types, making it easy for customers to charge any EV make and model. In addition, the 7Charge app offers a new level of convenience and coordination, allowing customers to seamlessly coordinate their charging and payment needs.

According to 7-Eleven, the expansion of the 7Charge network will allow the company to match consumer demand for EV charging infrastructure and will help to provide access to neighborhoods that have previously lacked access.

Once the network is fully expanded, 7-Eleven will have one of the largest and most compatible fast-charging networks of any retailer in North America, serving communities and customers across its entire family of brands, including Speedway and Stripes stores.

The launch of 7Charge marks a significant step for 7-Eleven and underscores the company’s commitment to providing innovative and convenient solutions for its customers. As the trend towards EVs continues to accelerate, the 7Charge network is likely to become an important part of the EV charging infrastructure in North America.
